Find your moment. Often, the most difficult thing to let go of is the one we never got to hold. Often, it’s what we fought hardest for. Often, we keep fighting long after we’ve lost. Loss, defeat, and the realization of our limits bring us into the dreaded darkness. But it’s a mistake to dread what’s natural and necessary. Life is as much darkness as it is light. Quietness, solitude, and reflection need their place too. In the darkness we must learn to rekindle the light, we must find meaning, and, in turn, we must let go of the darkness too.
