The world is a mirror. Open your eyes. What part of yourself do you see? In the shadow, in the light, what do you see? Not enough. The mirror is too small. Make it bigger. See more. Open your eyes. See the meaning in the light. See the forms in the shadow. Embrace them both. Open your eyes. See the good and the evil, the wisdom and nonsense, the familiar and unknown, the day and night. That is you. Laughing, crying, struggling, fighting, living, dying… that is you. Open your eyes. Look at yourself.

From truth, purpose; from purpose, fulfillment. The truth is that this life is a struggle, it’s a contest. Your purpose is to use up every bit of your potential participating in life. Happiness isn’t a reward. Strength isn’t gained without effort. Love isn’t something you get from someone else. Life is made bearable in the bearing of it. The meaning of life reveals itself when you stop looking for it and start living with sincerity. Fulfillment will come at last when you have given all that you have.
